12:1 with 450cc injectors? how rich would i be running do you think an afc would help out?

or should i just stay with my stock injectors for now

forgot

boosting at 7psi on 8.8:1 forged pistons,stock rods on a 97 mtx and im using a stock smic

dont know if that says anything but i wanna go to the track this weekend and try and up the boost

You'd be running very rich. Change your ratio to a more reasonable amount for lower boost (<10psi). You might want a ratio somewhere closer to 2:1 or 3:1 or so. S-AFC would help at idle, but it advances timing at the same time when under throttle so that's something you should be aware of.

thanks for the replys

the only reason i asked is cause i ordered a sfmu and the 450cc injectors at the same time hoping the would come in before this weekned(for the track)

but the injectors came in and the sfmu didnt

so i guess imma just stay boosting at 6psi for now

not to jack the tread but i was wondering that as well?i have just the regular vortech fmu(12:1),so use the 4:1 disk?how well will the car idel?And question for 808dsmtuner,where did u get ur 450cc injectors from?are they the same as in the ones used on stock turbo eclipse?i needing to upgarde my injectors and saw some on ebay from turbo eclipse and wanted too know if they will work on are cars or will i need a risitor pack or something? thanks

got mines from my friends sr20

i dont know if they were stock but he upgraded his injectors and sold me these cheap and these are low impedence so they work just had to get bigger o rings

are u runing them now?how well do they idel?i have an hrc satge 2(20g turbo) and a built bottom end(howell long rod kit)i want to get some new injectors but want to know how they well they idel with the vortech fmu(sfmu will be on the way once the funds are there)also what is the highest boost i can run with the 450cc..thanks
