Im trying too decide on the right camshaft for my setup. Im currently running a stage 5 hahn kit w/ th 20g-h. I can't decide whether i should go with the crane 14s or the 16s. I know the 14s help to spool the turbo faster, but thats not really a concern to me being traction is an issue already. I want the cams that will give me the most mid- upper rpm horsepower. Give me your opinions, or your setup.

I'm using the Hahn stage 5 w/ 720cc injectors and I decided to go with Crane 16 cams. You'll get more of the mid-upper range that you're looking for as opposed to the #14 cams. Remember though, you'll need to re-work most of your DFI's base fuel map with the CALMAP software.

Why is that? I haven't heard of anyone using Crower stage 3 cams. Do you use them?

ive been thinking of running them because of the way they are setup. its a little better than the others. don't be scared by the "full drag" statement on them. they aren't really full drag.

i dont run them, im about to put on crower stage 2 cams. i wish i had gotten 3 because of my setup, i could have used them well.

I was talking to Eddy Fierro (who has worked extensively with Len Ayala) and he said that Crower 3s on a 420a would likely be a dog until about 3000rpm. After that, the power from the cams and the turbo would come on like a freight train. He said that for daily driving, they aren't the best bet. Now I don't know if this would change much if your head isn't ported or only ported a little bit. We were talking about my application which has been opened up quite a bit. emoji Just some more input.
