Fuel Cut Time - will not add fuel for specified number of seconds after start up regardless of Kpa, right? Injector inhibit timer - essentialy the same thing as right above? NOW... for the fuel matrix - the numbers in each box corresponding to an RPM range is a % of fuel injected? if the number is 1.00, then by dropping it to .70, i have PULLED 30% of fuel for that range? Or have i ADDED 30% more? is 1.00 more fuel than .70 or is it less? i have factory 235's for primaries and accell 410's for my secondaries. thank you guys or your help and patience.
The scaler number is injector pulse width in miliseconds, at MAX pressure, and MAX set rpm limit. The 034 internal map sensor is good for around 24 psi, and if you set your tach scale to 7200 rpm, then at 24 psi, and 7200 rpm, if your scaler is set to 5.0 for example, then 5.0 is the max miliseconds of your injectors(duty cycle). A lower number means less fuel, and vice versa.
Triggers per rev is basically how the 034 is interpreting the trigger signal. You MUST have this set to 2, or your rpm readings on the 034 software will not match the car's tach. Our tach signal gives 4 triggers per crank revolution. You need to set it to 2, for it to read correctly on the software.
Triggers per injector- When this value is set to 1, its firing BOTH injector drivers(all 4 injectors) EACH and EVERY trigger. Since your triggers per rev is set to 2, this means the 034 is firing all 4 injectors TWICE EACH crank revolution. If you set this number to "2", then the 034 will "skip" every other trigger signal, so then it will fire all 4 injectors ONCE each crank revolution. I've tried both settings, and having it set to "1", seems to be the closest to the old software version as to how it fires the injectors..I'm still thinking that the older version fired the drivers alternativly though. Also, if you set this number to "2", you will need a scaler number much higher, almost twice as high as if it was set to "1".
As for the numbers in the matrix, yes, if you lower the number to lets say .70, this means you have PULLED 30% of the injector pulse width from that range where you put that value into. If you set it to 1.20, this means you have added 20% of fuel in that range.
If you have your triggers per injector set to "1", and you are using 410's as secondaries, then your sclaer should not be any higher than 5. Even mine is rich set to 5.222 using 310cc secondaries. I think a good starting point would be the 4.5xx range and work down. YOu will prob have to take out fuel at the horizontal row of boxes below 105 kpa,and the boxes above 105 kpa. Each horizontal row of boxes represents *approx* 5 psi. Example, 0-5 psi, 5-10 psi, ect..
