ok, i bought a missing link off of one of the board members here, but i dont know which way to install it. one side has a little rubber ring in the center and the other side indents in. my question is which end points up? i dont have any instructions. also once that is in can i take out stars fuel cut defender and connect all the wires back together?

Star Stage II, Greddy Type S, ADFX 3" DP, blah blah blah

Its really simple dude. Unplug the map sensor, then take the two screws out of the base and remove it. Now put the male end of the missing link (the one that sticks out and has a rubber O-ring on it) in the hole you just pulled the base out of. Twist it back and forth until it drops in. Make sure the little air filter is pointing towards the drivers side. Now bolt the base to the missing link then snap the connection back on. BAM your done. And yes you can take off Stars fcd, but alot of people use both from what I hear. Good luck emoji

Oh, you don't like altezza's? Too bad, your gonna get a good look at mine.

If you by chance got the old style ML, that doesn't have the male side...which it kinda sounds like you do. The side with the o-ring goes on the intake manifold. Pretty straight forward like ^^ said...the MAP sensor can only fit on/in the ML on one side (the female side) And don't worry if you there isn't a filter...that rotational orientation won't matter then. emoji

One other thing - you DONT want to run both at the same time - not a good idea emoji Disconnect your black box and splice the wires back together - just use the ML.

There is no problem running both at the same time... In fact, many people on here do so. I run both the Missing link and my AOBE together with no problems whatsoever..

Well ... OK. I believe you, I have no reason not too. I just remember reading some posts about 2 years ago or so as to why this was not a good idea. Unfortunately I can't remember the exact reason anymore and there is no way I am going to do ML search and sift through all those hits trying to find it ...
