damn. those are some ... 'take it in the ass' prices.
call vt engines in michigan www.vtengines.com and go through them. excellent people there and thier machine work/assebly is flawless. and then order the gaskets from bob kise in fenton dodge.
also .. explain.. fully built transmission....
ALSO>: did you just call the bedplate a girdle????

A headgasket kit will run you about 150, and it comes with just about every gasket you could ever want for your car.
What are you looking to do with your head? Cams? Cam gears? etc... Most guys on the board here will tell you not to bother having it bored, no one really seems to notice a big difference for the money. Just in case you had thoughts along those lines ....

I can't say I agree here as my engine was assembled with the wrong rear main seal. Granted everyone does make a mistake this just happened to be a very costly mistake to me in regards to downtime. However, the engine does run very well.

Disagree - "wiseco pistons are gay" wiseco pistons are fine, most guys on this baard will never reach the power levels they are capable of. But I would agree that the JE's are better. If you have option, get the better ones just cause their better.

Wisco > JE > CP.
