#72775, "Greddy Type S help"

I found these diagrams of the Greddy Type-S, and I'm just looking for expert advice. For the 3 opens on the Greddy Type-S, here is what I have.

Manifold Pressure Nipple, hooked up to vacuum line I believe (?)
The lower nipple is connected to nothing...what could I hook that up to??
Vent Release goes back into the injen intake, can I undo that and have it vent to the atmosphere?

Thanks guys, here are the diagrams.

Manifold Pressure Nipple - connects to a vacuum source on the intake manifold.

Lower Nipple - vacuum assist. Not necessary, but you can use it if you wish.

Vent Release - recirculates the air back into the intake. This is metered air, so if you vent to atmosphere your car will run like ass.

If you have a 420a you can vent to the atmosphere just fine. In fact, I don't know anyone recirculating their BOV except people with the 4g. As I fouond out from Jamesman, if you hook up your lower port you must seal the BOV with 2 O-rings and it must be hooked up to a boost only port. I does help it blow off alot faster and easier.

Bad info (assuming he's 420A). Air is metered in the intake manifold, way after the BOV in our cars.

It's only metered if you have a MAF, and in that case, it's metered just passed the air filter (before the BOV, which would then need to be recirculated).

Vent it to the atmosphere, you'll have no troubles.

Great info for the 420a, but he drives a GSX now. emoji
