right now my boost gauge is teed into the throttle body vac line and i dont think im getting an accurate reading. where is the best spot to tee into? i thought about the line that goes from the wastegate to the side of the turbo but didnt know.

Most people tap into a vacuum line on the intake manifold so you are seeing the pressure that the engine sees. If you tap into the line right off the turbo, it might be off by a little bit due to the pressure drop from the IC and piping.
