I have heard a lot of the 4g63 guys say they break studs all the time. Anyone using these on their 420a? I am about to pull my manifold this week to get the leak fixed. I am going to try the studs and get rid of the shitty bolts that HRC uses. Them damn allen bolts are hard as shit to get off.

i use manifold studs. dunno if they are for the 4g63 or not. the mopar exhaust bolts kept breaking thier heads off on me. these studs seem to be holding very well.

I know a few people that use 4G63 studs for the exhaust manifold without problems.

I use them. Got them from the dealer for about $18. Never broken a single one.

Get the 8mm ones.

I use them and they work great. For some reason (age?) I've broken like 8 of them on my 4g63's, but never broken one on the 420a/HRC kit.

Make sure you get the copper lock nuts and washers to go with them. Blue loctite the head-side.
