Ok heres the deal. I installed the turbo and the car started running crappy, so i changed the plugs out and everything was going great. Now yesterday it started running like crap again. Spuddering around 2k rpm and wanted to stall out when i take off from a stop. Could this possible be contributed to improperly gapped plugs?

This is just a guess....but maybe you didn't set your car up for the turbo properly and your car is saying.."WHERE IS ALL THIS AIR COMNG FROM!!!" and dumping loads of fuel to compensate and making you run rich...ORRRRRRR perhaps the reverse....you set your car up to run rich because of the turbo, but before it can spool up and give you the air, your already dumping the fuel in, that could be why its almost stalling out when you try and launch...

Just a thought...

With out any details, many board members will not be able to help you out. We don't know what kind of fuel setup you are running or if you have installed any kind of rising rate regulator (I hope so!). A couple of ideas that come to my mind is incorrect idle fuel pressure, incorrect rise rate (too much fuel), no missing link or Fuel Cut Defender, incorrectly gapped plugs (should be .032 to .035 for a turbo app).

Give us some more details,
Kurt

ok heres my details. I have a 1996 Eagle talon esi with a star stage 2 turbo installed. Comes with a vortech FMU(not adjustable). I have a missing link installed in the car and i have ngk spark plugs(the ones one range colder then stock.) The car was running like garbage till i installed those plugs and then it ran beautiful for a week, now its running like crap again. I dont know if its contributable to the plugs not properly gapped(i just threw them in to see if it would help and it did so i didnt gap them, but i will be regapping tomarrow), or if its an issue of too much fuel getting sent. If its the matter of too much fuel, is there a way to prevent it with just the fmu? or do i need to get either sfmu or safc?
