i have the star stage 2 and when boosting it only hits 3psi ... the delta gate has a sticker on it that has a number 7 on the top and i thought that meant it had a 7psi spring in it ? am i right or wrong or what should i check?

where do you have the wastegate signal line conected to?? the compressor side of the turbo??? you will get some pressure drop through the intercooler, meaning just because you have a 7psi spring does not mean you will get 7 psi boost. If you want to get 7 psi of boost you could get boost controller (this is what I did). Also double check for boost leeks, couplings, hose clamps, bov.

no boost leaks, i have checked like 20 times. the line is running from the wastegate to the turbo. and it seems as if my BOV is a pussy ... its not loud like it should be and its a blitz

iono much about the delta gate, but if you gots a wastegate spring, you may have a 5psi spring, plus fmic=3-4psi. turn it up with a boost controller imo. maybe they sent u something from a stg1 or somthin. and there is no way your gonna make much pshhhht out of a bov at only 3psi... that isn't much.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.

i was getting similar, but mine was like 1psi.. so i turned that alleykey screw inside the wastegate in a lil, tighted and boosted to check, rinsed and repeated till i was happy. No boost controller, but i used the boost gauge to monitor.

blitz bovs are made for "sleeper cars." My friend has a blitz bov on his 240 and likes to keep his car secretive for having a sr20det installed...thats why he chose that brand. BUt once hits high rpms then it sounds really good...

so i can tighthen the allen screw in the wastegate without messing anything up? and what do you mean, you recleaned it ?

I had the same exact problem, a boost controller did the trick for me. It would go no higher than 3 psi before but now I have it set to 8 psi.
