first of all when i did a compression test i got these results: 1: 180 2: 180 3: 195 4: 185 (ARE THESE GOOD ENOUGH TO GO TURBO)
ok when i got done with the compression test i put in new spark plugs. When i started the car and started driving the exhaust started sounding like it was not getting enough air or some shit. Then when i pull back in to the driveway the rpm drop all the way to 200 to 300. The service engine light didnt even come on.

The compression is just fine for turbo.
If the RPM problem only became an issue right after you installed the sparkies, there's your problem. You most likely screwed up your spark plug install in some manner. RE-check your work. Also make sure your PCV valve is back on correctly as well as its corresponding vacuum reference.

well from wat i can see on one of the spark plugs is NGK R PZFR5F. also i only have one of the new spark plugs in. meaning the first spark plug was changed and the rest are the same the way they way they were in the car. could that be the problem. not having the same spark plugs in all 4 cylinders?

You are indeed misfiring. Moreover, you're not burning all the fuel in your exhaust apparently causing the backfire upon initial start-up.
Take out your spark plugs, re-gap them to .50, check the resistance in your spark plug wires and try again. If you didn't have any of the symptoms your experiencing now prior to your spark plug install, continue to focus your efforts on your ignition system. If the above advice doesn't help, buy new spark plugs and re-check, then new wires, and go from there. The new spark plugs may have issues or the introduction of them may have exposed another issue with your ignition system.
p.s. spark plugs only require about 20 lbs of torque when tightening.

know im really getting depressed. i put new NGK spark plugs in and it still is misfiring. when i rev the car above 3000 the exhaust starts souding boggy and choppy like its not getting enough air. it almost feels like the car is about to turn off. also could how hard u tightened the spark plugs cause misfiring. i didnt check the iginition system yet but i would be surprised if that were the cause becuase it was fine before till i put that f*#king spark plug in.

Okay. So you replaced all 4 plugs and gapped them right? I don't have enough info as of right now to make a diagnosis but I can tell you that, if your CEL flashes while the engine's running, it means you are misfiring at that point.

well they came gaped at .44 so ijust put them in like that. the service engine does not come on. maybe if i drive it for a long period of time it will come on. the plugs are NGK Spark Plugs V-POWER.

OK finally the service engine light came on after i gaped the spark plugs to .50. Know when i rev the engine i smell alot of gas and the same things still happens (exhaust gets choppy and boggy and the cars starts shaking lightly, and the car feels like its going to turn off). i changed the spark plug wires also. I was directed by a fellow dsmer to go to this link and follow this procedure if the service engine light comes on http://www.2gnt.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=8. I did what it asked me to and the service engine light blinked twice, I just dont know how to translate that in to the codes provided on that site.
