Ok heres the deal. I finally am breaking in my built block and what not. I have a vortech S-fmu thats not installed and i have the fmu running the 4:1 disk right now with the s-afc. Instead of messing with my fuel system because the car seems to be running great i was going to go to the dyno and tune for 15 or 16 psi but keep my fmu on and safc and see how things work at the dyno because i have heard some people havin gproblems with their sfmu. im just a little shaky about installing my sfmu because i dotn want the car to run like crap again. Can anybody giv eme some advice and should i just go ahead and install the sfmu and see what happens or go to the dyno and check that out first. Thanks alot

Thanks but that forum doesnt answer any of my questions. I am going to the dyno to tune with the wideband for sure so My question is i cuurently have the fmu installed running with the safc. I also have a brand new s-fmu sitting in my room. Wat i need to know is i was going to tune using the fmu + safc on the wideband if it is reasonable becuase i dont want to mess up the way the car is running now by installing the sfmu and changeing fuel pressures or anything. so is it possible to get a good a/f raito out of the standard fmu?

sell the SFMU and the fuel regulator and build an 8 injector setup. You will get killer gas mileage too. emoji I would advise against running anything over 12 psi with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Sure it will work, but it's just not right. Plus our stock ECU runs very lean from 4k - 5k RPM, so the fuel you need under boost is not linear, so a linear RR Regulator isn't going very work well.
