this light came on after i installed my turbo, then went out for a couple days and came back on. the car doesnt run crappy or anything, but i have no clue why it is on. maybe the map sensor bypass?

As long as you're not a 99 then do the keydance next time it's on or get access to a logger. You can guess all you want but it's just going to waste you're money guessing and replacing parts. Get the actual code.

uhh... go to autozone, find someone with a pocketlogger or get access to a scanner and find out what the code is. Asking the board why your CEL is on is like asking why your car runs crappy. It could be a hundreds of things.

Did you install a clamp or anything on your map sensor? How did you tune your fuel? It could be because of a bad map signal, or running too rich/lean.

yeah just take it out like i did. those things always come on on a 2gnt w/ a turbo.
