Ok my EGT's while cursing are about 1200, and in 4th gear at WOT I got about 1510-1520...I have gotten mixed signals about these numbers...are they normal?

from my SEARCHES (hint-hint) I've read that 1525-1550 is good

that said, you're below that range which is certainly preferrable to being hotter than that.. heh

wait but... you said WOT... that sounds low then...

depends on where your probe is at.

If its in the manifold, youre fine. a bit on the safe side even.

Yea take a look at the pic on that link below the prob is on drilled on the top on the Mani...

As far as I knew 1600 was a nono, but 1520 is ok at WOT...it just seems weird that there not much room for error...I duno, I trying to read up on egts

egt's in turbo gas cars still scare me.. the powerstroke turbo Diesel's like mine.. you don't want your EGT's to EVER get above 1250ish
at like 1340 it starts to over heat the turbine and the blades flatten out.
