Heres the deal, I have an autometer EGT gauge and a TRE probe, the tre probe has this plasic thing on the end with 2 prongs + and -. Should I just cut this off and just hard wire it to the yellow autometer wire? Or is there a better way of doing this?


BTW I tried the search and came up empty.

That's what i did with my Westach, and it read exactly the same as my old probe, only much faster reacting.

I have the Autometer gauge with the Team Rip probe. I cut the Autometer wire off near the old probe and connected it to the Team Rip connector.

that tre connector is gay. i just chopped it and hard wired it.
