Well the car is back up and running...

WE FOUND THE PROBLEM TO MY OVER HEATING
there were 2 cracks in the head, and the head was warped. Everything is fixed, at night my temps are like 150, and in 95 degree weather its about 195-205 after running for a while...I let it idle for 10 min at this temp and it did not go over 210..THANK GOD!
---------------------------------
OK HERES MY PROBLEM...
I was testing out my EGT doing a freeway pull...I was in 4th, at around 5000 rpm I get this kinda loud pop, it jolts a little then keeps going...THHIS DOES NOT happen all the time...And it only happens at W0T AND ONLY AT HIGH RPM.

My egts are around 1000-1200 while cursing, and EGT's around 1400-1450 at W0T. So im not lean...
Im on 310's, at 8 psi

what’s the deal?

ytea chris now that i think about it...

replace your plugs and wires dude emoji thats funny...remember when i was saying that about the coilpack?

plugs - ngk bkr7e you can get em from napa, just coat the threads with anti seize before ya put them in, they dont need to be gapped

wires - howell sells em, i have magnecore 8mm something or other

edit: also moderperformance.com sells them too and they KICK ASS AT SHIPPING! i'd go with them

yeah black smoke stands for too rich, you gotta lean it out a bit. remember when i mentioned at 4th gear pulls(WOT), the temps have to be close to 1550. you need to invest in a wideband gauge or goto a dyno and do a wideband tunning. you can't just rely on EGT's alone. and no matter what sparkplugs you get, always check the gaps whether it says it's pregapped or not. you never know if someone else bought them, returned them and messed with the gap.

Yeah you have a missfire going on there. You are running pretty rich, by your EGT readings(assuming they are in the exhaust mani, NOT after the turbo). I would do all of the following in this order:

1.Replace plug wires with good high performance wires
2.NGK-BKR7E plugs, gapped to a minimum of .032
3.If it still misfires, pull out some fuel

yea im guessing its the coil first- if not that- then better wires- or my fuel

Heres my plan
Im going to get the NGK plugs, better coil pack, and 8 mm wires, all at one time...

then my sfmu will be here soon, ill that will be changed also, and i will be able to tune it.

i think by then it shoul de fixed

I dont understand why you would replace the coil without testing it. Look in the factory service manual for the amount of resistance it should be at. If you find it to be out of that spec then replace it. The plugs are a cheap fix and are probably fouled from all the fuel your running. Better safe than sorry but you'll most likely want to change your plugs with your oil each time, i always do. If both of these check out to be ok then you could replace the wires. Having better wires never hurt anything. You could also look into the diy fuel cut defensor. I have this along with my missing link and its fool proof. Check the little things before you go spending money on stuff that may not be bad.

While a resistance test might be ok on a coil pack... that sort of test will sometimes give you a false positive.

Say in your wires, it's fully corroded, except for one strand. Your resistance reading from a wire like that would still be null, but obviously it's a shoddy wire.

Just something to think about...

read armond's site, according to him you overly rich conditions can cause detonation too. not saying that is the problem but you said your rich so you aren't detonating... just thought it'd be good to read. http://www.armond30.com/adp/smartquestions.html
