well i had that problem not to long ago with white smoke and oil shooting out of my turbo..just got my turbo back from hrc and they checked and replaced some of the seal now everything seems to be fine..i do have oil leaking from the oil drain pipe with the 10 mm bolts..if you press on the gas oil will just leak out..i used the paper gasket that comes with the turbo but keeps burning up..has any one ran into this problem? i've searched and could not find anything on a fix for this..whats the best seal or gasket to use?

I used some High temp gasket material (doubled up) that you can get from napa/schucks/auto haus/pep boys. I too had leaks comming from that gasket. Now no leaks. This was due to my being a dumbass and thinking I could reuse the old gasket.

Here is a tip:
Go to your local Mitsu/Talon dealer and ask for the 4g63 oil drain gasket between the drain line and the oil pan. It is a guaranteed perfect fit. Should only be around a dollar and some change for tax.
