My engine CANT last at the rate I'm going. First off its going on two months now and I still CAN NOT keep my foot off the gas. I mean for no reason what so ever I'm constantly flooring the damn thing and driving it hard. If it doesn't break I'm going to go to jail first. Secondly I have had a bad habit of running into the rev limiter in 1rst, just cant switch fast enough. Not that it even benefits me to stay in first that long, I just like to break the tires free from time to time when the boost comes on hard around 4500rpm, only problem is once that happens I cant switch fast enough. I've decided no more redline shift ATTEMPTS in 1rst but nothing I can do about the constant abuse. In fact its starting to feel slow again. Well I shouldn't say slow but no satifactory like it did. I need more power!

Hey Stan, I bet it will continue to survive you so long as you monitor everything. I've been rough on my car for over 13k miles, all mostly in-town. I downshift like mad, and kill anything that tries to rev at me at a light. Basically, the only time I drive like a normal person is with the wife in the car or known places/times when cops are lurking. (That's a lot too)

I know what you mean by the car feeling "weaker." But I already know what the problem is, man. It's not the car, it's YOU! emoji You're getting used to it. You probably notice that any mod you do makes your car feel like "supercar" for anywhere from a day to two weeks depending on the gravity of the mod. After that, you start to get accustomed to the newfound improvement, and rather than being exhilerated by the performance, you get normalized to it. emoji

BTW, I just got my new S-AFC working and on. The new one works like a charm and I installed it in 20 minutes. I've already done some minor low throttle tuning which has made my car feel much less boggier. (a walbro in tandem with an accel inline can do that! emoji )

Ya i know what you mean... flooring it and having an orgasm are pretty close for me. Arnold Swarzanegeeiuap;fa said that when he lifts weights it feels like he is cuming. I to have that feeling but only when i drive my car and floor it. I wake up and drive to work... cum a little bit before i clock in. Get off work, start cuming a little more. Its great i am cumming all the time. Gas is killing me though. I pay 30 bucks to fill up my tank and an extra 5 bucks to fill the extra gas tank in my trunk if i ran out of gas that time. That dam guage is nearly worthless.. The needle is through the floor and i still have 5 gallons left in 'reserve'.

I too have a VERY heavy foot. I find myself boosting all the tim emoji. It is a very hard thing to stop. Kinda like an addiction. But as long as we maintain our cars well, and make sure everything is ok, I think our cars can handle the abuse.
