I know I've got to be annoying the hell out of you guys, but I'm almost done. I finished installing my fuel system today but I ran into a few problems. HRC sent me the wrong bracket to mount my fuel pump with, so I had to bastardize it somewhat. It wouldn't mount up the way the instructions said so I cut it up to fit. The book showed the plate down and the pump up, I couldn't get it to work this way so mine faces down. I don't see what it could hurt. Here's a pic of it. http://www.dsmtuners.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=34857&password=0&sort=2&cat=500&page=1
Do you think this will be a problem?
Oh, you don't like altezza's? Too bad, your gonna get a good look at mine.

That's what I did too. I could fit the fp so I said fuck it and flip it like you did. Make sure thought that the fuel lines aren't "kinked."

Hahn is pretty ambigious with how it all mounts up there. I think if you read between the lines in the instructions you find "just get it to fit, genius" printed all over the place.

Exactly. Same here. I didnt even get the bracket with mine so we had to fabricate one, and we mounted it the same way you did. I was worried for a while, and it seems to make it louder since it isnt shielded with rubber or anything but it works fine. Also I was real worried the 1st time i went through an automated car wash, but its held up fine. Just peek under there every now and then to make sure its still holding up fine.

You can also reduce the noise if you get a high flow fuel pump (walbro or hrc hi-flow pump). That works alot! If you're on a stock fuel pump, then you'll get the infamous rape pig noise.
