#71224, "Boost and EGT Gauge"

How much money should I be looking to spend on good Boost and EGT gauges? I was looking on Ebay and it seems like there are a lot of cheap ones, and I don't want to risk anything going wrong with cheap stuff. How are OBX, Autometer, HKS, and APEXi Gauges?

Autometer is the vast majority. Apexi guages are nice but not cheap. emoji Google would solve this. You generally get what you pay for.

i think autometer is best... stick with one maker, so when mounted, they all look the same and very nice.

I hate my engine!

Nah, I don't really agree on the autometer being the best. They're good if your on a budget, but now that I think about it, I should have gone either greddy or defi.

I didn't say Autometer was the best. Just the majority. They are a decent middle line guage that come at a good price.

If i had the money i would go with a full Defi setup... My buddy Mike has had his Defi gauges on backorder for almost a year.

i don't get how you guys say autometer are cheap.. i think they are damn expensive.. the gauges I plan to get for my truck are considerably less.. and i'd trust them way more then autometers crap. they may not be as pretty.. but i don't really care. they are there to tell me things, not to look cool emoji

If you have an autometer gauge and a defi, greddy, or apexi gauge on hand side by side, you can pretty much tell where the quality of the materials are used. Of course, cost wise, autometer is cheaper compared to the others; when you're getting into big turbo/engine upgrades, you're buying stuff in a short period and we all buy autometer to cut cost.

autometer has known to not be as acurate.. plus with defi you have the D link

they also have these new ones that fade when the power is off, so you just see a black face.. have no idea what kinda guages they are
they change to a white or black backround depending on what time of the day it is..

the d link is also very nice

I had reg D link guages, which were still costly think i paid 450 for all 3 of mine, but the quality on them were bar known
plus they were on the money accurate

no bad talk about them...
unlike autometer and other brands

I like the SPA guages, those are very baller too.. very sexy imo but costly

its all about what kinda cash flow you got...
