#70980, "Fuel questions - (converting fuel system) and turbo size..."

My car has been down for many months while I slowly figure out what is wrong and piece together a turbo kit. I need to get the car running again quickly, but do not have the time to get everything installed. I have a 96 GS with a denso fuel pump, SMFU and return line fitted, and some 252cc Accel injectors. I have not figured out the exhaust piping and intercooler piping yet, so can I drive the car NA with that fuel setup by simply adjusting for the idle and static fuel pressure?

Before I dove into this conversion my car would usually refuse to accelerate under any driving circumstances. I would get ~50psi fuel pressure, 0 vacuum, and the A/F gauge would read dead lean all while I was trying to accelerate out of second gear. It would do this all the time and usually just snap out of it and continue to drive normally until the next time I needed to accelerate. I gave up on the car, bought an STI and now want to fix up the 2gnt.

I get 214psi compression on all four during a cold compression test and the spark plugs look normal. I figured that new fuel injector would solve my problem, but since a turbo system replaces so many fuel related items I am bound to solve my problem. I guess I am just converting my 96 fuel system into a 95 fuel system from an NA aspect.

Also, since I just want to have fun with the 2gnt and have a 2.4 block on my patio (waiting for you know what) can I run this turbo:

at 5psi and make my stock motor last long enough until the big one is done?

Jeez this was a long post... I know what I want to do, I just need reassurance for the 2g and this seems to be the best place to recieve it. Thanks.
