Hey guys, I have the vortech 12:1 FMU. I also have a s-afc and 36 lbs injectors. Now, I just did the entire bottom end, and i want to start boosting higher but the only thing that is holding me back is my fuel pressure at those boost levels. I can only boost like up to 10 with that 12:1 because, obviously, i don't want my fuel line to burst reacing those high boost levels. Now my question is, i don't have any money for a SFMU, and my idle is fine and everything, i just need lower fuel pressures up top. Can I get by with just getting a new disk for the FMU and if so, i was thinking about the 6:1, but should i go even lower than that? Say, 4:1? I want to hit, on a good day, 17 psi, until i get bigger injectors, but run 15-16 daily. What should my fuel pressures be up top for that kind of boost, right around 90? or lower like 70-80? Thanks alot guys, for help with the rebuild also...
PS. Anyone have any recal. disks just laying around that they want to get rid of? Like a 4:1 or 6:1? If so, let me know?

its the injectors that are going to hold you back, not the fmu. get 440s. your injectors are only good for about 13lbs of boost.

also.. just get an sfmu. if youre going to do it.. do it right.

you are going to need a rising rate fpr. The FMU won't cut it at those boost levels.

i have 4:1 disk with ring and gasket brand new if you're interested, you can run just fine with it to 15psi but you need 440cc's injectors, anything higher is a risk. the recab kit in vortech is $30.00 or something like that, i'll sell it to you for $10.00 plus shipping. let me know.
