welp, my new turbo shows up today. course hrc still cant do anything right. i still have to reclock the turbo down more since the compressor hits the starter. and they send me to oil drain gaskets, and both dont come close to fitting. for all who dont know what the s25g is. its a tdo7s compressor with a tdo6h turbine housing. afaik.

ill get some on the car pics as soon, as.. well.. i get it on the car.

the site says this turbo is capable of like 700hp. its range is 10psi to 30+psi. the turbo is clocked from hrc. down. but it wasnt clocked right. it has markings to where its sposted to be, but i guess its off. i clocked it now. and its fitted onto the car. next step is to fab up the licp. and wait till my filter with the 4inch inlet gets in.

yes dino. somethings are good. but hrc isnt the britest out there. the turbo is sposted to spool 15psi at like low 4g. the total cost for the turbo, shipping and oil fittings was like 960.00

Great scott Marty.

That thing scares the crap out of me.

I hope you have a REALLY good fuel system, a completely decked out block and cylinder head, and some way of running past 7250 RPM's in order to milk that thing for all it's worth.

EDIT: It looks to me as if HRC knew what they were doing when they clocked the turbo so the compressor housing is discharging downward... If the turbo was clocked like the S16G, I don't think it would be possible to fit a UICP in there, because, Jesus Christ, that snail is huge.

nate: fuel system isnt that great now. still running the sfmu till i get some money. im gonn either go with the dfi, or the megasquirt. either of those will take my fuel cut away, so i can rev to 7800.

block: cp pistons: 8.8:1 comp. eagle rods, clevite bearings, arp main/head studs, melling oilpump.

head: 3 angle valve job, si ss valves, crower springs. nothing too crazy on the head. and aem cam gears with the afx udp.

after that chunk of money, ill be saving for the fuel system, and axles.

A little yellow bird told me that the S25G spools "alot like the T66"

Who knows how close the TD07 wheel that HRC uses is to that picture, but who cares, it's in the same ballpark.

Is this going to be a track car? If not, then that turbo(on our FWD cars) is pretty much a waste of turbo for a street setup..IMO, a S20G is all you really need for a fast street/track car combo..But, that turbo is bad asssss

injen: no only sold the turbo, since the s25g didnt come with a manifold.

its not a track car. i wanted just the s20g, but hrc upped the price to 800instead of 650.00 (turbo oly) so i said fuck that, and added a hundred bucks more, and got this one. i like it being clocked down.

Nice and big turbo! Looks awesome! Have you thought on going to a 8-injector setup. You have great bottom end. All you need is a lot of fuel now.
