I have had this problem ever since I've boosted the car. It seems like every week I'm adding a 1/2 - a quart of oil to the car. I don't know if its my car? Or does everyone else have this too. It just seems my shit burns oil so much and I have to keep a lock on checking it. Just tryin to see how much oil you guys burn in say a week?

None actually. It is surprising because I have around 185 compression across the board but I never burn oil, nor do I get blow-by.

I usually have to add about 1/2 a quart by the time I reach about 3000 miles. I'm willing to bet this is because the engine burns a little bit of oil when cold because of forged the "new" forged pistons.

Same here..a half quart a week is just a bit too much..you either have worn rings, cracked ring lands, or bad valve guide seals..

Motor has like 5k on it. I hope I haven't messed anything up yet. emoji I'm gonna have to do a compression test later this week and see what it shows hopefully it's good.

Lot's of times with these HRC turbos, I find they're always having bearing issues, and that causes a lot of "lost" oil. I find myself having to add quite a bit of oil too. No leaks and perfect compression. Since my rebuild, my catch can hasn't seen a drop of oil. Where does it all go? lol

I need to add about 1/2 a quart ever 1000 miles. But I'm sure it's because of the huge leak in the HG where the oil galley is. My compression is solid. I need to pull the head and have it decked.

Well from what I know most of it goes into my catch can. I have a star kit tho. But yah like every few days I'll empty out my catch can and its just a little ghetto 20 oz bottle and its bout 1/4-1/2 full when I empty it.

The motor is a dead stock replacement. It's just a Jasper engine. My insurance company took care of it when i hydrolocked. If I had to pay for the block it would have been a built VT engine but I couldn't get my mechanic to get me a built engine emoji

right now I think I'm just sort of puffing it out very slowly from the dipstick thing, I removed it a couple of weeks ago and forgot to add permatex to it...since then i've had a fine haze of oil on some of the parts in that region

it's always been pretty stable though

I have no clue what it is now. But im seeing like a little buildup of oil around the exhaust housing of the turbo? Could i have blown a seal? That's what I'm thinking it is...

My SRT eats oil. emoji

I'm scared to take off my intercooler and find, what I'm sure, 2 quarts of synthetic in it. emoji

That right there is probably your answer. all/most your oil is getting blowin into your catch can. Why? cus your pcv valve is probably busted and spitting oil into your intake manifold and out your breather hose into your catch can also.
