could i bring it to a shop, pay labor, leave and come back to a 97 RS-T running 5-7 psi, and drive home with it? When i compared this list to the parts catalog on dsmtuners, it seemed like some things were missing from the kit and/or some things were more vaguely named...

does it come with oil lines? where do you live?

i live in northeast san antonio. I dont know what comes with it except whats listed on the site and in my prior thread.

wow come on guys!... dsmtuners is down for updating and dsmtalk has closed registrations.. so this is the only place i can ask questions to ppl who actually know what they are talking about. Guys if its a stupid question just tell me but im tryign to learn and i really want to know the answer to my question.

do the instillation yourself... or as much of is as you can .. if you know someone you wont pay the 62/hr labor fee.

the install really isnt that bad, if you can change your oil you can probably do the install. I installed my star kit and it was realitvly straight forward. just take a weekend to do it, and if you get hung up on somthing there are plenty of people on here that can answer your questions.

lol thats great advice and maybe i will but the point of the topic was whether or not to do the install, its basically just asking experienced ppl if what's listed is enough.

well your list looks pretty good other than oil supply and return line, silicone coulpers and clamps( dont remeber if I saw these on there). you will also need some tefflon tape to keep things from leaking. I would also suggest a new oil pan gaskett and exhaust mani gasket as long as your at it. oil filer and 5 quarts mobil 1. some as far as gauges, I know yo ugot the boost gauge but I would also recomend a EGT gauge. I think I got it all, anyone else let me know if I forgot anything.
