i have not had a single problem with my turboxs dual stage. i like it very much. very easy to install and perfectly functional. i have a switch under my rear defrost. i run 5lbs around town.. and 19 when i want to be naughty..

i had the turboXS one...i liked it...had good boost controll, would spike 1 psi or so on a cold night if i hit it hard, but would always settle back down...plus the switch it cool haha.

If you have a sfmu, it's really no biggy. I would adjust it to the highest boost setting. The more boost, the more fuel. Once you find the ring and disc combo you need for the highest boost setting, It will adjusting accordingly to the rise rate fuel pressure no matter what boost it's running.
