i know i've been away from the board for awhile so let me update you guys on some war stories i've had since being up in portland....

acura NSX:
really cool older guy. he really liked my BOV. we raced about 4 times off the line.....i'd say if they were 1/4 mile runs he would have had me by a car length (damn traction!!) he lives somewhere around me since i've seen him a couple times so i figure when i get my suspension tuned for some traction and my EBC i'll hang.

new civic SI (this was tonight):
was behind this kid getting on an on ramp to the freeway. once we get on the freeway he floors it. i downshift to get up beside him and actually up shift to 5th and hang with him while he's flooring it (about 90mph). he looks over at me and smiles. that kinda pisses me off so i downshift into 4th and smoke him mad crazy style. (those SI have no top end in there 4th & 5th gears).

older corvette (generation before new body style):
older guy with his wife(?). me and my girl up in seattle visiting my bro. we are heading back to portland and a couple lights form the on ramp. this black corvette takes off at the green light and leaves me (didn't know we were racing). so he actually puts on the brakes at the last minute to hit the last red light with me before getting on freeway. light turns green and we both just start off normal. we both floor it once we start moving. the on ramp is coming up and i'm about 1/2 a car in front. going around the ramp he couldn't hang in the turn (he was just scared i think). once we get on the freeway he can't catch up. he finally goes by me and doesn't even look at me. this whole time this new jetta is behind us trying to catch up.

well those are the most memorable ones.....there have been various civics and stangs (slow as hell on freeway). my buddy here has a GST spyder with intake/exhaust and upper IC pipe with greddy BOV. i get him everytime.

Nice kills!
I just finished installing my star II(BB) friday. And last night I went out to the local races to test it out. I was a bit scared running it just cause i spen so much time installing it and i did'nt want anything to go wrong. Well I raced a friend of mine in a civic hatchback with a zc motor swap and a 50 shot of nos. The first race i had about 4 cars on him, (he forgot to turn on the nos). 2nd race i smoked all of first and only got about half a car on him, but good enough for a win. And only 7 psi
