It took a few seconds to get fuel pressure, but once it got the pressure it fired right up. I nervously stood by and checked for leaks. There was only one, it was the drain plug on the transaxle, as I forgot to tighten it. No leaks up by the headgasket or by the waterpump(did I get that o-ring in there correctly?), which always make me nervous. A few of the things I did on this rebuild are: Got rid of all cruise control shit and even bought a throttle cable for a non-cruise equipped eclipse(I hated that space robbing pulley box and three cables), crane 0014 Cams installed, moved my 034EFI into the car and installed RC 440's as the secondaries, relocated battery to trunk(still working on tying it down), hard piped my water injection from the trunk to the engine bay, new oil pump, water pump, bearings, pistons, rings(je 8.8(8.6),total seal), reused the eagle rods from before, new spec stage 3 clutch(hopefully this one works out as I am always burning them out, I am going to do the nicest break-in ever to try and avoid this), I bought a new intercooler and as a Tial Bov(very sweet piece), but did not install these things yet as I'm going to have custom piping made up, and it's not really neccessary for my break in period anyways. The UPS man delivered my Flex-a-Lite dual fans today, but I'll wait to install that when my Fluidyne radiator comes(hopefully next week). I don't post a lot, mostly because my typing sucks so bad, but believe me when I say I couldn't have done this without you guys. Just today I was scanning through the engine bay pics on the site to find where a stray wire got bolted down. A rebuild can basically be done using the advanced search feature. Thank you 2GNT.
