k, my car has had minor over heating probs lately.....coolant is topped off and good. i notice while working on my car that at idle the 2nd fan (the one to the left as you look into engine bay)isn't turning on at all. under what circumstances does that fan turn on? the other one (in front of intake) is turning on fine. i'm sick of blasting the heat to cool it down while driving......thanks all.

the fan in front of the motor is the a/c condenser fan and only comes on with the a/c on, the one in front of the tranny is always the radiator fan, on all cars. That fan is'nt the problem it's something else, try flushin the radiator, changing the radiator cap.

i don't remember how much it cost but they do GOOD work and it ended up being th only place that i would take my car. the name was R&D Motorsports (autosports?)in Lake Forest the guy you should ask for is Joe (i think). tell them that anthony with the black eclipse sent you (it's been a while so you may have to jar is memory)....... and if at all possible see if the same mechanic works on your car. He was a hispanic guy. they did my clutch for an awsome price and internals.....don't have the # so call 411....i'm pretty sure skrilla has their # too.

hey dude, i called R@D and talked to Joe ( service manager ) and he sorta remembers you, but said
it was around $3200 for them to do your internals and he said WITHOUT PARTS? is this true?
did you get the parts and or did they?
also did u port/ valve job or and also ?
he also said it took about one week only?
by any chance do they do aftermarket such as install the turbo for our cars ?

that was without parts....i don't remember it being that much...does not include port and polish.....it did include a valve job and boring out the piston walls for the bigger pistons. i got my parts from HRC. and it was about a week. they installed my CFDF clutch seperatly. they would probably do a turbo install too. i thought he charged me only like $1500-$2000...but they do good work and won't leave you hanging if you have to go back for anything,

hey maybe it caught on fire, when my engine caught on fire my fans melted and fell down in the engine bay, for some reason they dont spin anymore, im clueless!
