I drilled a hole in my AEM cold air intake today and went to put the nozzel adapter thing in and I found out that it doesnt tighten all the way down!? WTF! Does yours? It works fine with the stock intake because it is thicker and rubbery. Anyone else have this problem or are my threads just gone?

:shrug i installed my adapter in my aem 3 weeks ago and everything worked out fine. made sure it was snug and still had plenty of room to be torqued down even more. and my kit is NX so i dunno. you did stick the larger assembly up from inside the pipe, with the little nut on the outside. was tight and my nozle went all the way in. got pics of how you did it?

well i used the lil thing where that tube connects to the valve cover.. sorry for my lack of terminology, but just cut it a lil, threaded it, and screwed the fogger in.. i see you got it, but just to let you know of other ideas..
