OK. I got my car finally and before we took it to the dyno to fine tune it, it was running great. My wideband was reading some crazy ass reading, like 16:1 or even 17:1 at WOT and 17psi of boost. I believe it was reading wrong as the EGTs never climbed to m ore than 1400F in 3rd and 4rd gear. I think the sensor is toast since before I had the SFMU I had the FMU with a 10:1 disk, it was reading more than 150psi of fuel preassure.

Now, we took the car to the dyno and tried to fine tune it and we had some sputerring, so we changed to Denso Iridiums. BTW, I am using the emanage to tune. We did not have any more time to tune it with the new plugs so we took it out of the dyno and it ran good at WOT and full boost, but it ran like shit at low RPM´s, cruising that is. We changed to the old map and it still ran like shit. We gapped the plugs to .35 and I still was runing rich. What the hell_? I thought iridums where the best plugs. I was running NGK´s before it. Oh well, any info is greatly appreciated.

I currently have the 440cc´s, the largest disk on the SFMU. Oh, sorry for the long post.

440's with the biggest SFMU disc? Try the next smaller disc, and don't forget the ring that goes around it (it doesn't fit snug like the other 2 disc/ring combos). That rising rate is a bit too steep for that big of injectors.

Check your fuel trims with a datalogger. How are you tuneing with the emanage? Are you using it to modify the injector signal? Did you reconfigure the injector scaler? why are you even using a sfmu if you have an emanage? You should use large injectors and a 1:1 fpr. Iridium plugs suck.

Irridium plugs suck ass. So do platinum. That's why your car runs like shit. Put the NGKs back in.

I dunno if i would do platinums...... lol After my experience i would not get them =). I tried Bosch platinum's and NGK platnums with the bosch i was backfiring/hestitating as soon as i hit boost with the NGK platinums i was backfiring/hestitating at like 6+ psi then finally i just went to regular 1.65 1 heat range colder NGK's and car runs like a dream just my 2 cents
And yes they were gapped right

Thanks for the replies. I am going to change to regular copper NGK´s then. I figured it was the plugs since we put the old map back in (when it ran good without tunning) and it still ran like shit. The reason I am using the largest disk is because we were not seeing as much fp at full boost as we were expecting. We were hitting something like 80psi of fp. Now with he largest disk ir ran close to 98 psi. We were running a bit lean before with the 2.72 disk and ring. Ok, I´ll keep you guys updated. Thanks a lot.
