I got a 75 shot NX wet kit. I got a bottle warmer and a N20 gauge. I try to juice when I'm over 900PSI and under 1000PSI. I'm getting fuel from the test port on the fuel rail. My jets are 41(N)/24(F) with 1 step colder NGK plugs. I also have the blinking A/F gauge.

When I'm WOT and juicing, the LED A/F gauge is all the way to the right(I know it's not accurate), but I start bucking/backfireing like crazy. It will run smooth for a sec or two, then it bucks. I'll let my foot off for a sec and floor it again. Same shit, starts bucking after a sec of smooth acceleration.

The question is, am I running too rich? or too lean? How does a lean plug look like? Does running lean cause my car to buck? Or too rich? Has this happen to anyone? Any ideas on how to fix this? I just want to know what causes my car to buck/backfire.

I'm going to get me a real reading A/F gauge soon so I'll know for sure what's going on with the mixture. BUT, what do you guys think? TIA

pull the plugs, rich is black fowling, lean is white tips. im gonna say you might be running a bit rich....which has already been confirmed by your gauge. make sure you have the proper jets installed /shrug

Where is your nozzle placed and make sure your jets are in the right line. Like nitrous jet on the fuel side vice versa.

I have the same setup but I dont have colder plugs. Definately check the spark plugs. Im using the same 41 N and 24 F ratio as well. Yea, and make sure you put the jets in the correct line and didnt reverse them.

Yeah, I tried different jets last night. I'm using 40N/26F now to make sure I'm running rich. Then it happened. http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=5&topic_id=71941&mesg_id=71941&page=

Some said it was caused by not well mixed nitrous and fuel. So, do you think by moving the nozzles back from the tb/intake manifold would change the way it mixes? Where do you nitrous people have your nozzles and did your system ever pop and kill your engine?

mine is close to the TB so that the nozzel sprays down the tb instead of onto the intake. I figured it would hit that bend in the intake and all turn to liquid and run down into the 1st cyl. One more thing to check.. long shot but make sure the nozzel is facing towards the TB and not backwards. (just to be sure) if it could be backwards.. i dunno

I have my nozzle right at the bend in the intake pipeaiming right at the t/b. I used to have it further down but it didnt work right. Ive heard of people blowing their intakes of before from back firing. My theory is there was a puddle of fuel in the intake. Like they said above check your plugs, nozzle and jets. Also check your wiring on the nitrous solodoide. Close the nitrous valve at the bottle and purge it so there isnt anything left in the line, activate the system, go to the wot switch, push it and listen for a click at the n2o solonoid.

What do you mean by check my selonoids? Like if they are working or not? Or am I supposed to be looking for something else? All I know is when it was spraying, it was awsome. It was pulling really hard, then it just popped. Could that be caused by plugs or jets or nozzle? Should I try spraying again? I really hate to destroy/hurt my eninge, that's IF this cause harm. So I assume this hasn't happened to anyone?
