Does anyone on the list auto-x with their turbo-monsters? I did last sunday, and I drained about 1/4 qt of oil out of my catch can afterwards. I've seen some posts about running lower than normal oil levels, but mine barely shows on the end of the stick. Do I need to worry about anything? Obviously throwing the car around will spit oil everywhere, but I've taken probably 1/2 qt out of the catch can since my turbo install. Car still runs great, took second in street mod behind a sick gsx and beat 2 stock gsx's. Any ideas?

sounds like your on the edge - of breaking something. Thats a lot of oil blowing by. When i broke my ring landing i could drive around without spurrting a ton of oil into the CC. But when i got on it a little bit, it was a different story. I filled half a gatorade bottle going through the gears a couple times. It may not be you at this point but you might want to consider(*gasp*)lowering the boost. How much are you running?
I'm only running 5 psi, and keep in mind the 1/2 qt is since april with 7 - 1/4 mi. passes, 2 WOT street races, and 6 runs at the auto-x. And it may not be quite 1/2 qt, it's hard to estimate. But like I said the car is still running great. I'm going to see if I can drain anything out tonight, which will probably be nothing. I'm kind of expecting the oil level to level out at some point, since I've read that other folks think there's too much oil in our cars to start with.
