Ok so I may be high, but since I already have the cartech,(which works great as the rising rate regulator, but not so great as the idle regulator), I contacted the biege(cartech) people and they said that the FPR was not intended to ever work without a base regulator. So my thought was to install an idle (adjustable) pressure regulator and install the cartech unit on the tail end of that. If this makes no sense at all, then shoot me down now. I just can't justify spending 289$ on the super fmu, when I can spend $100 and get the same result.

You're right and they're right. HRC's implementation of this regulator isn't the greatest.
Maybe you could do what Chillfactory apparently does... put a check valve in the vacuum signal line so the regulator never sees vacuum, only boost. This way your idle and static fuel pressures will be identical.
Set the thing to stock fuel pressure, and it will only rise on boost. You may need to add in a 1:1 or your stock FPR somewhere in there for this to work right though.
What I did was sell the craptech on ebay, and spent an extra $50 buying a used SFMU off ebay. Works great for me

yea I still have yet to decide. I have till april 18 (auto x event one) to really figure this out. I did some reading at neon's .org and they apparently go for the 1:1 reg and the cartech as an alternitive to the vortech units. Thanks guys.
