I have a S20G with the actuator set at 10 psi from HRC. I am also running the Greddy E 01 boost controller. Now, with boosting it only reaches 9psi or so. I am thinking its because of the big FMIC from HRC. However, the mechanic set the E01 at 15psi and it only reaches 9psi. I have no clue as to what might be wrong. It is a brand new turbo. Thanks for any help.

9psi with a 10psi actuator is normal for a pressure drop with the FMIC. But setting the boost controller at 15psi and only hitting 9psi isn't. I'd say first check for any boost leaks, then maybe throw a manual boost controller on it and see if that works. Then you'll know if the EBC is either not working or not hooked up right.

either not hooked up write or not set right. im not familar with thr greddy E01 EBC, but the profec b 2 has a few settings that effect overall boost pressure. when one goes up, the boost goes down...and so on.

I was under the impression that my mechanic had messed with the E-01, but I was mistaken. He told me that he did not mess with it at all. He only let the actuator do its job and nothing more. So I have a 15psi actuator and we are switching it so I can always run 15psi on the street. Thanks for the help
