#67791, "Star turbo kit stage 2"

Okay I have worked on alot of cars over the years but I have never installed a turbo kit nor do I know anyone who has so I'm basicly on my own on installing it. I was going to buy the Hahn stage 2 kit for the better customer support but then I seen you had to pay $400 more for the front mount intercooler. So I think I'm going to go with the Star Stage 2 kit. Okay first off I'm in the process of rebuilding my engine (140,000 miles) installing Eagle rods and JE pistons so reliablity of the internals should be good. Okay the big question is what else am I going to buy in addition to the kit. Also is there anything else i can installe prior to buying the kit? Since I have realy never done any performance work to a newer car(fuel injection). I have never done any changes or reprogramed an ecm. Dont get me wrong I have worked on newer cars alot just nothing like this. Thanks guys

you won't have to reprogram the ecu. you will prolly want a fuel pressure gauge. along with a turbo timer. dependin on the yr of your car you'll need a fuel return line and theres a nice write up on the main page for that along will all the fittins you'll need for it. may want to upgrade to a sfmu instead of the fmu but it shouldn't be needed, but with a built motor ur goin to want to turn up the boost so i'd say look into that. your also goin to want a boost controller i'd recommend a electronic one like a greddy prof b due to the easy user ability. there then that the kit should be complete, i have a partial star stage one that i'm upgradin to a stage two with a fmic.
