#67733, "Turbo is running"

Well, I finally have my crazy ass turbo set up installed, running 9 pounds…

We really only ran into these 2 problems/semi problem’s

Problem-
1. The a/f gage was just sitting in the Green(rich!!!) while it idled, it wasn’t even moving, and holy shit you could smell gas a lot from those 310’s. It was running rich as hell… It started up horrible, it started then stayed at like 100 rpm and SLOWLY went up, and there was way to much fuel being put in when the motor started... We hadn’t tuned in the FPR to much, so we figured that may be to blame…And in part I still think it is, but I think we found the real problem, we did a scan and saw that my o2 sensor was just chillen at a solid 1 volt (the 02 sensor was DEAD, totally dead) so, im positive that’s was causing it to run so rich and mess with the start up, what do you guys think?

Semi problem –
2. In my opinion this is not really a problem… But when we started it up for the first time, and I had some blow by…As the day went on, it became less and less…everyone at the shop said cuz my motor is now forced induction, it has to rebreak it self in (more or less) and the blow by will go away after a while, it doing that now because 1, we were just revving it a lot, 2, it’s now new to forced induction

did anyone hear have a little blow by when they first started to boost???

Thanks ill have vids and pics tommrow

sounds like you did a pretty good install. do you have a kit or did you do a custom job? are you running stock internals? yes i would have to say your o2 sensor is definitly causing you the problems. get a new one and i'm sure you'll be fine.

I had a TON of blow by the first 3 days. In my water bottle catch can. Now, NONE emoji. The mountain springs catch can is always empty. I guess that's normal.
