runners are too long IMO.. i say that setup has too much TB with too long of runners. need a quad TB's like those.. setup with 3" runners.. or perhaps shorter.

what runners are too long??? if anything i'm to turn the tbs so i don't have to fab a new throttle cable and just use the stock set up. what i really want to do is get this to work with my turbo set up which i'm goin to try to have set up for the shoot out. the only thing i don't like about the set up is the adaptor plate, its about 2 inchs thick and if i want to fit everything under a stock hood along with running the turbo and a custom pendulm(sp) thats where i think i'm goin to run into trouble. as far as this not fittin if thats what u mean i have an extra stock upper and lower that i measured and i don't forsee any issues.
i can't take any credit for this yet tho i picked this set up off silverjade i believe from the board over the winter and i'm goin to start doin some testing as soon as the weather backs here in NE Pa.
let me know what u guys think. i've read in the advanced section but maybe seein these picts instead of a cad design will inspire some new ideas or comments.

I meant too long for wanting max top end. but if that's not your goal, then disregard what i said earlier. I just figured you were doing it like that to increase top end power by running shorter runners.

something like a 40-50HP increase N/A with this kit. that's how ya get non-turbo power IMO, price isn't too high either considering the gains

ahhhh...inspiration again ....I'll have to get working on my setup. I've redesigned my upper intake and made it about 150% bigger...but I gotta double check to make sure it'll fit. I want to make the upper out of fiberglass to but I'm a litttle worried about the strength of that. All I have to do is make a mold (I have the "plug" fabbed up out of plastic cups, coke and redbull cans...LOL. SO I have make a mold out of that and then the remake the plug out of foam or whatever to lay the fiberglass around that and then dissolve the foam from the inside....Idunno...that's my plan...whether it'll work or not...I guess I'll find out...LOL

here's a couple of pics of my model "plug". I took them quite awhile ago...I've just been experimenting with different ways to make the mold. I haven't had much luck. I need to get rid of some of the negitive spaces in it for sure.

i'm workin at a machine shop right now so i think i'm goin to go a few saturdays when i have nothing to do and figure out how much the tbs flow and then make a pendulm(sp) accordingly. i'm goin to make one out of a sheet metal or whatever the guys i work with determine to be best considering heat soak etc. i also want to remake the place that transfers the tb's to the lower mani right now it about 2 inches high and i think i could get it down to about 3/8 of an inch, which will save me the rest of that space under the hood. as far as the vaccum lines, i'm just goin to see how the factory one is and match that and work from there. i'd still like to set up for the 8 injector set up b/c my major goal is to get the turbo and this running together. i've thought about stayin na just to see if i could break that 14 sec quarter mile time and then go turbo but i have to see how this works about in the next few weeks cuz the weathers gettin nice and i'll be able to start turnin some wrench.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
