Oh yeah... I also have a IPAQ Pocket PC that I made a cable for and hooked up... there's a piece of software called PocketTune... anyway I can use the Ipaq to talk to and tune the Megasquirt... which is pretty cool. Means I don't have to rely on having a laaaptop hooked up whenever I want to tune her...

Excellent. Keeps us updated.
If you need a base pulsewidth map to go of of, i have my Gen 6 map we can convert to base pulsewidths for you to play with.

Why don't you send me that base pulsewidth map to take a look at... I have some numbers in their already that I calculated should get it running... but some extra info to use to help firm up the numbers would be good.

First and foremost, what size injectors are you running? The map i use is built for 625's.
I'll have to convert it. Calmap uses a 10 to 256 value per cell that it converts to a pulsewidth in the base map. Tomorrow at work i'll go through and stick the real base pulses in Excel for you.
If you want the actual base map, there is a formula you can use (multiply the cell value by some amount, get a pulsewidth) i can dig it up for you.
*edit*
From the DFI manual: All the values in the matrix are numbers when multiplied by 0.0627 equal the commanded injector pulse width. For example, if we had a matrix value of 119, the pulse width would be calculated as- 119 X 0.0627 = 7.4613 MS. Since the Calmap also incorporates an interpalative and rounding function in its software, do not be alarmed if the mathematically calculated pulse width is slightly different from what the Calmap determines. It will take values from surrounding cells and interpret them into a pulse width.
I'll dig up the values later.

I have 450's right now...
Give me whatever numbers you have and I'll take a look at them... They probably won't transpose directly into megasquirt anyway... But they will give me something to look at...lol
