#67064, "Oil pan and oil return line, what to do when your going back to n/a ?"
I have the whole turbo kit off now, but Im stuck at one problem, and I think theres only one thing to do. Im making my 420a-T back into just a 420a-S, the "S" is for slow. I dont know though when Im gonna do with the oil return line that taps into the oil pan. I just used a hacksaw and cut it shorter so I could connect the downpipe. BESIDES buying a whole new oil pan, is there any reliable way to plug it up so that oil doesnt go all over the friggin place. Thanks,

Put a fat bolt and washers in there with some RTV and loctite. Obviously this solution is only as good as the bolt you use and correct sizing of the washers.

I suppose. I just didnt know if someone sold like a metal blocker plate with the same design, just to plug it up. I tried a cork (yea, something simple and cheap) just so I could move it to my new house, but now I want a permanent fix.

I'd be willing to bet a large amount money there is somebody around here who just bought a HRC turbo kit and would love to NOT have to tap his/her oil pan. Post up in the FS and see if someone is willing to trade straight up. Of course, then you have to deal with the downtime.

Thanks Clinton, but I just got one off of Pushin420A (yes, the newb). Hopefully that will be the end off that, and the car will be sold, and Euro Tuning here I come (time for a change in things). Lets see, 18x9's sounds good..
