#66855, "going turbo need help ASAP!"

i have the money to go turbo... finally, so i just had a few questions. i am going with the star stage 2 kit, so where is it that you guys know of that is the cheapest place for a new, not used star kit. i know overboost sells them for $2899 + free shipping. i just dont want to over pay for something that i could have got cheaper.

my other question is, i heard somewhere that you should use 4g63 manifold bolts to bolt up the manifold instead of the ones the come in the star kit. is this true?

Same goes for any kit. The bolts the come with the STAR kit (and the HRC allen key bolts) just aren't that great. You don't HAVE to, but over time they tend to heat stress, back out, or break theheads off. I ran the out-of-the-box STAR bols for a long time.

You can get them from a dealer or from RRE

Pretty sure it's:

MD005317 for the studs

&

MD092806 for the nuts
