I am pulling a motor tonight and a freind of mine took my Chiltons manual. I have a automatic and was wondering if the motor will pull right out or if I "need" to remove anything such as the underedrive pully and or any of the transmition stuff. ie. mounts or torque convertore. Any and all help is needed ASAP. Thanks

...with the engine and tranny, but without the alternator and it's associated brackets. I think you can though, you will need a second person once the engine is attached to the cherry picker to help angle the engine/tranny while you are removing it. Becareful though the whole package I would guess is about 550 pounds. The entire engine is a hair under 350 and the tranny is maybe another 200 or so.
