Ok im planning to do work to my car now that the weather is turned warm (no garage sux azz) and ive decided that im going to try for an all motor and nitrous. I know that turbo will net more power in long run but this is what ive decided for now. (Wich by the way, I know a few guys here are All motor, if you could point out some specific threads on the board it will be much welcomed, the search just brings up so many diff things)

Anyways, my main question is about nitrous, more specific the method of activation. From my understanding there is basiocly a solonoid of some type that activates the spray at WOT when the system is armed. Ive also seen push button activation....are these an "either / or" or a both? With the first example im assuming that you would get a spray each gear that you floored it in, Id rather have more controll over the point of activation. Something like, Main switch=system armed---->then WOT=System Primed---->then Pushbutton= Spray. Is this too complicated a setup? Or am i really reading too much into it? Someone please clear this up for me? Thanks!!

Here are some quick threads I found about high compression and all motor builds, just by searching...

we have a section for this.......its called the turbo/nitrous section.

more in tune with your question (which has been answered 34857383293 times before) you have 2 methods of activation. what we call at WOT switch, and the push button. both are contact switches. solenoids are what allows the nitrous and fuel through. why do you need 5736227 activations? just a main switch and a trigger. you can control how your nitrous activates...simple solution. if you dont wanna use it....DONT TURN ON YOUR MAIN SWITCH. and even if your driving around with your switch on for some reason....just dont hit the button or go WOT. its pretty simple. if your asking these kinda questions...it may be in the better interest for you to stay fully NA for a while. contrary to F&F and what everyone thinks...you cant just "throw" a nitrous kit on. its serious business. while its cheaper than a turbo...it doesent mean its simple. you still have to worry about fuel, running lean and melting your pistons, cracking ring lands because of detonation. i read up on nitrous for like 2 years before i got my kit....i advise you do ALOT of reading. sorry if i come off like an ass but this has been discussed countless times and you could have found everything by just doing a simple search emoji

yeesh, talk about walking into the lions den....I know you can turn the sys off if not wanted, and i never said i was just gonna "throw a system on" Granted i dont know every little thing, But i do know a lot more than your avg "F&F" person (wich i hated the movie btw) And what if I had asked a turbo question? Would you have bitten it off then as well? Asking these "Kind of questions" indeed....Perhaps I used a different search string...so many different post i just wanted the meat of the matter....Ive had my car for a good year plus now just reading on it and asking a small question here and there...if i cant find a direct answer i try to ask simply...and considering how i hardly ask, maybe it says im useing the search button in the first place....Pardon the vent but god.....EDIT Sorry for snap, but all reasearch to date has been with intention of going turbo...this has had to change...and i just wanted some direct answers on all motor builds

yes you're reading too much into it, if i were you do some research on the internet, and learn the basics, atleast become familar with a Wet Kit setup which is simple to hook up, and start from there before going into an all motor build and direct port nitrous injection.
