ok i need to put on the 2.72" disk and ring the only problem is i am missing the 2.72 inch ring. my question is can i bore out the 2.4" ring so that the 2.72 disk will slide into it. i mean the machinest said he could because it is big enough but is that pretty much the smae thing as having the 2.72 disk or will somthing somehow be off.

if i remember correctly, the 2.72" disk does not have a ring that fits perfectly. put in the closest one, there will be a small gap between the disk and the ring but it will run fine.

well the machinest already bored the other ring out, so should i just use that one, it fits perfectlly like the other did.???
