#66361, "sfmu question bout disks and rings"

ok i was told for 15psi of boost w/440cc injectors to run the 2.72" disk and ring, my prob is, i have all the ring n disk combos and have the 2.72 disk but not the ring so for those of you famalier could i take the next smaller ring, which if you have it you can see that it is fatter than the other rings and the outside diameter is larger than than 2.72 disk, so could i just bore that ring out so that the 2.72 disk slides in it, cuz i dont feel like paying 30 bucks for a new set. would this work. and also i believe it is my boost port that you can adjust there is nothing in it. is that how it is suppose to be. what would be the affect of having nothing in it. and what should the other ports be set at for the setup i have said above, wut about fuel pressures, i heard 18 at idle?? correct?

Read my post. I am in the same position as you are. I also think the 2.72 disk is the right way with the 440cc injectors. From what I've read and heard, too low of a fuel preassure at idle will not atomize the fuel correctly. Try 35psi at idle. That is what I am shooting for once I get my fuel rail.
