#66189, "How many you guys use the Starion front mount intercooler?"
For all of you who has this intercooler installed, Can you post some pictures up or send me some pictures of your installation. I am gonna install mine this coming weekend and would like to get some installation info.,advice, pictures, etc.. on your set-ups. I see that some people have different set- ups like cyan. I saw a picture of his turbo set-up and his pipe from the trottle body goes straight to the turbo inlet just like the stage 1 set-up instead of going into the intercooler but he has an intercooler as well because I can see it. I don't know how his pipings are set up because I can't see his connections to the intercooler but I figured that the outlet pipe from the turbo where your filter cone connects to is hooked up to the intercooler somehow. Correct me if I'm wrong. Hope I'm not confusing anyone. I just confusing myself. Bring me back to reality guys

That's because Cyan was too damn lazy to hook up his intercooler. He's still in stage 1 mode. You would need to get the right side outlet of the starion closed up and have them reroute that opening to the side of the end tanks. as far as piping goes, I hacked up my stage 1 piping and got a couple of J, U and straight bends from summitracing. It's not hard. Once you get the pipes you can actaully see how easy it is to route your pipes.

So you can't just turn the Starion intercooler around to the side your throttle body is on and install it that way? You know that pipe that comes all the way across the intercooler and meets with the one on the other end of the intercooler goes into the turbo inlet right while the short one or outlet one on that end goes into the throttle body, correct? Does it matter how the intercooler is put in as long as you get the pipe connections right?
