Try researching first, then you'll know what you do or don't need. Read, learn, and make decisions for yourself. Every single car is different. You CANNOT throw parts on a car and just expect it to be fast. It doesn't work that way. $'s do not mysteriously turn into hp.
Lets just say this... I'm over 100whp and soon to cross 200whp. Thanx 2GNT! Now if I could only learn to prove it.

I am going to rebuild 1st, then do the turbo. Probably an HRC Stage 2. Depending on funds I may start off with a stage 1 but from what I researched so far, the Rebuild is about $3500 for the things I want to do and about another $3000 for the HRC if you buy new. Worry about the rebuild 1st cause you can always get deals on the HRC stuff either from these guys here or when HRC has sales later on.

3500 is a good start point! you gonna do the work yourself or pay someone?
close to 10G's is good average for "everything"

correct me if im wrong, but doesnt the hrc stage 3 come with a stage 2 turbo kit with fmic and a forged bottom end??
if im not wrong, i would say go that route, then start upgrading from there. i say this because if i had a decent job and maybe some money thats what i would do. but i just had to pay a grand to replace a head gasket and water pump... isnt that shitty?
hope that helps
