#65800, "FMIC core questions"

My shop at my college just got a new MIG w/ aluminum spool gun and argon. It seems to weld pretty nice and I'm confident that I could make endtanks and make my own FMIC. What's the difference if I put the inlet/outlet on the same side? Can anybody name any decent cores that could be had from a yard?

Shit is all apart. Typical...

I'm not 100%, but I think the intercoolers with inlet/outlet on the same side have a special seperator plate in them. I don't know of any cores you couold find in a junkyard that have that. You could make a top to bottom intercooler. You could also buy a core from RRE and make your own endtanks for on of those.
