#65194, "Reading only 2psi, NEED HELP!"

I have a new universal super 16g turbo with Alain manifold, SFMU, custom FMIC and piping, MP throttle body, 2.5" downpipe. It will onlygo up to 2psi and it spools up late which is not much since it is only 2psi. Could the intercooler be the problem, the turbo is new and the manifold is also new. I am so lost with this and so frustrated. I also have inline fuel pump, sfmu idle set at 25, in-tank fuel pump, 30lb injectors, missing link, so everything is almost like a HRC kit but it runs like shit and will not go higher than 2-3psi. Please someone help.

I 3rd major boost leak. Check all the connections from the turbo, to the i/c, to the throttle body. Make sure the seal at the exhaust manifold and downpipe are tight.

is it internally gated? if so check the wastegate arm and make sure it is still connected and that it just isnt dangling there, cuz if it did your wastegate would be stuck pretty much wide open happened to me b4.

thats what i think.

boost leaks aren't usually that bad. not enough to where you notice them.. most of the time with a boost leak you will hit max boost but then watch it fall off. it wont just stop at 2lbs of boost.

check for exhaust manifold leaks as well.

It has an internal wastegate, it is not dangling, it has a pin to hold it up on the flapper arm. I had to turn my compressor housing a little since it is a universal super 16g. It is raining, so i have to wait to mess with the car. I am going to take all my connections off and retighten all of them to see what will happen. My Howell rebuild kit is supposed to be here the 18th, but i might have to sell it if i cannot get this car running right and just buy a kit so it will run right. Anyone from Georgia, I live by savannah, am willing to go anywhere to get this car running right, and pay anyone, b/c i have tried everything from buying 2 super 16g(universal) to changing manifolds and everything else, thanks for the replies. I will keep you guys posted on retightening.

I went out in the rain and adjusted the position that my wastegate is and test drove and it reads up to 5psi, so i think since i had to clock the turbo, i need to reposition the wastegate so that there is no tension on the arm of the wastegate. Hopefully the sun will come out and i can fix it more, i hope it works so that i can keep my rebuild kit and hit the next step up. I will keep posting.
