Never had the problem until I boosted. Car runs like crap but im thinking a bad ignition coil. What causes a CEL 13? Any possible fixes.

I wish you a smooth break-in and happy driving.

No the ML should no cause a cel. If it was failing to prevent fuel cut, then the cel should be 109, I think for manifold pressure, not sure though. What's cel 13?

Could be a faulty ML. sounds like its blocking the MAP entirely, instead of just when boosting.

It's possible that the ML is stuck shut. You could isolate the ML from the MAP sensor by removing the ML, reset the ecu, and then take it for a short run to see if it'll throw the same code (just an idea.) If the problem persist w/o the ML, then the MAP sensor is probably bad, or vice versa.

Actually I got this code on the way home from jamesman's place.

At around 2500 rpm at 45 MPH on the freeway on-ramp, the car bucked, and picked itself back up again. On the drive home, i didn't boost it.

after I got home, I key danced and got 12-14-55. MAP sensor voltage too low/high.

Pulled my ML and clean the mofo out. Will go for a drive tomorrow to see if it comes back.

Is the MAP plugged in all the way?

Did you take the red shipping plug out of the ML before you installed it?

Take the ML off and see if you can blow thru it one way. If not, it needs to be cleaned. Dip it in some acetone or blow some carb cleaner through it.

I think i read somewhere that you can blow air through the missing link one way but if you flip it and blow air through it, the air wont pass through. Is that right? Or am I suppose to be able to blow through it really slightly but if i put a lot air through it it'll close. I guess what I'm trying to say is, how does the Missing Link work? And how do I find out if my Missink Link is faulty?
